About Mezzanine
Our story
The Mezz story is one of continuous evolution. We started out almost 20 years ago as a pure consultancy, formed from the management consulting division of Ivey School of Business at Western University.
To better support our clients, our offering eventually expanded to reposition Mezzanine as a full service B2B marketing agency.
Today, we have evolved into a modern and dynamic B2B growth agency that redefines the role and model of a traditional agency. We are a true partner in growth for our clients, offering a unique combination of experience, expertise and technology solutions to help drive growth across the entire revenue operations landscape, including marketing, sales and customer service.
That means you will find us helping out in a LOT of different areas. Sometimes we are executing marketing campaigns, sometimes we are enabling your sales team — and sometimes we are helping the two groups work better together. Other times we are helping your service teams do their part in driving growth, or putting the right tech in place to help you connect with customers and drive growth.
What is in a name?
Our name was inspired while our founder, Lisa Shepherd, was attending an event back in the mid 2000s. Standing on the mezzanine level, looking out at the main stage of the venue, Lisa noted that the mezzanine is the best place to be when you want to see what is going on. The mezzanine offers a more complete, high-level view, while staying close enough to monitor the details.
